As a busy working mum, my time for beauty treatments and pamper sessions is scarce. On the days that I don’t work and spend with my daughter, I can just about manage to shower and put on some blusher – please tell me i’m not the only one who struggles with this?! So when Le Salon contacted me to collaborate with them back in the summer, I jumped at the chance. How often does one get pampered in the comfort of your own home these days?
If you’ve never heard of Le Salon, here’s what they do – manicures and pedicures. But, really well. Whether it’s shellac, or polish, glitter or gothic – they have it covered and their philosophy is simple – they offer “a competitively priced, flawless and luxurious salon experience” all within your own four walls. Music to your ears when you’re a mother I can tell you. Not only that, they are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and operate all over London. Most of my appointments have been post 7pm in the evening which is perfect for when the little ones go to bed.
In terms of the treatments themselves, I have pretty much tried them all. From the standard polish manicure, to the luxurious shellac mani/pedi’s, all were done really well. The therapists come armed with an array of colour selections and brands to choose from (they only use the best so have CND Shellac, OPI & Essie), and they even do a specialist Nailberry mani/pedi if you want something a little more natural. For those of you who follow my Instagram, you may have seen that I also used Le Salon for a recent baby shower that I hosted. It was a perfect way to enjoy our day with a therapist on hand to offer mini manicures for everyone.
For me, Le Salon ticks every box for the services they offer; professional and experienced therapists who give you a true salon experience at home, for a really reasonable price. I have used a couple of other mobile beauty companies in the past, but sadly have never been impressed enough to recommend them, let along write about them. Over the months that I have used Le Salon, I have really enjoyed each treatment and would not hesitate if someone asked me to recommend them.
