Ankle boots are a wardrobe staple for me in the winter months. It doesn’t matter if they are flats or heels, I just can’t live without them. Rarely will you see me with an open toe, even in the evenings if i’m ‘out out’. You see, I like to feel cosy and warm, and I literally hate having cold feet. So ankle boots are the happy place for my feet, especially in those dark winter months when literally no one has a pedicure (it’s not just me right?).
Here is my edit of favourites right now. Some are high street steals, others are high end investments – and totally worth it if you want something that will last you many years (My Mulberry’s are on their fourth year now!). There are some flats for those days when you just need to sling on a slouchy knit and jeans, and some heels for when you want to something more dressy’. I hope you enjoy the edit. I think the absolute winner for my is the LK Bennett Edelle boot in the oxblood. They also come in black and grey – oh the choices!
