I don’t know about you, but it’s almost impossible for me to go through a summer without adding new white dress to my wardrobe. White is undoubtedly the colour of the season, and there is just something about a white dress that is effortless and chic. It doesn’t matter if it’s high street, or high end (and it’s hard to tell the difference with white trust me), short or long, it is just one of those items in your wardrobe that will never date.
I have a real mix of white dresses in my wardrobe, and they are a summer staple for me (although word of warning if you have young children – be prepared to wash them constantly…the dresses, not the children that is!). I have a fabulous one from B&ash that I got in St Topez last summer and I’ve added a new one from Mango and another from Zara to my collection this summer. I also have my eye on a fabulous one from Olivia Rubin’s new collection, as well as an Isabel Marant Etoile maxi dress. I’m a huge fan of longer dresses nowadays, in the form of midi’s and maxi’s. I have slightly more to hide, and always look for a more flattering cut, but if a little white dress is your thing then totally go for it. There are so many out there to choose from, you can’t really go wrong.
So, in light of my love for them, i’ve put together an edit of my top 10 favourite’s for this summer. It was a tough call to whittle it down I can assure you. Now to decide which one is your favourite…
